Are you a Certified Arborist?

Yes, we are ISA-certified Arborists who provide the best tree care services in New Braunfels. The International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) can verify John Sevier's Certification # WE1415 by going to the ISA website. A true Certified Arborist will expertly prune a tree to improve its health and reduce hazards. Call us if you ever need a tree service you can rely on.

Do you give free estimates?

Yes, we give free estimates all year for residential and commercial properties. We are always striving to help determine what could be wrong with your trees and what we can do to help fix the problem.

What is the advantage of using an Aerial Lift or "cherry picker" for Tree Care?

Central New Braunfels has many older trees with long, heavy, and fragile limbs. Trimming or removing limbs and trees can be much safer if the Arborist can reach out on the ends of the limbs. They will cut small branches little by little to avoid the possibility of limbs damaging structures or power lines. So, the trimming process will not cause any hazardous situations during tree trimming.

Why it's so necessary to paint cuts of Oka trees?

Oak trees require painting after cutting to block the scent of the fresh cut, which minimizes attracting insects that can carry OAK WILT. It is a prevalent killer of trees, and it would be a bad thing, which is why it needs to be taken seriously.

Is Ball Moss deadly for trees?

Ball Moss gets a lot of bad reps, but it is a "Photosite," not a Parasite. It surrounds the tree's living foliage and "suffocates/blocks" the sunlight. In extreme cases, it can kill the tree.

What is the best time to trim trees in New Braunfels?

We tell our customers that Autumn and Winter are the best times to trim trees. But to be safe, we recommend having us look at your trees to determine what kind they are and the best time to trim them, either for safety or aesthetics.

What is the best time to prune trees in New Braunfels?

Pruning trees will help them grow and live long, healthy, and strong lives. We recommend doing this in late winter or early spring when the trees are dormant. During this period, reduced sap flow reduces stress on the tree and allows for better wound healing.

In what areas do you provide tree trimming, hazard reduction pruning, and removal of dead or dangerous trees services?

Currently, we can only serve the Central New Braunfels area.
